For those of you that haven’t heard, as of February 7th, I have retired from the Coast Guard! After spending twenty years within the organization, I am moving on to a new chapter in my life.
Moving on from the Coast Guard is bittersweet. I have loved working for the USCG and it has rewarded me with tremendous opportunities and experiences, and I have met some of my best friends along the way.
But all good things must end sometime. I am moving on to another continent and new adventures await. I am excited to start a new chapter in my life and can not wait to be able to share them with my partner and wife. (Also, I am really excited to be able to grow a beard and my hair long!)
I would like to thank everyone who helped and guided me along the way for the last twenty years. I have nothing but gratitude for all. Thank you to everyone who helped put together a great retirement ceremony. Thanks to everyone who travelled and attended. I really appreciated the time I was able to spend with all of you. I look forward to seeing you all once I return from Japan and beyond!
